Our
search for the core principles inherent in each project is both open and
innovative in spirit - as a collaborative effort, it exploits the contributions
of the full range of project participants: members of the firm, consultants,
and clients. Careful consideration is given to the appropriateness of
design choices in terms of context, program, and construction. We are
known as architects who link excellent design with a larger commitment
to the built environment.
Barton
Myers Associates has developed as a widely-diversified practice - from
individual architectural projects to large-scale planning. Regardess of
size or scale of project, we emphasize the search for fundamental principles
as well as the necessary balance between the basic elements which make
up architecture, including structure, systems, materials, spatial organization,
and light. We strive for the reasonable balance of these elements, to
achieve an appropriate, accommodating, and inventive architecture.
